Welcome to Alpine Center for Counseling and Recovery. We are proud to have been providing health care services in Bishop, California since 1985. Our staff are long-term residents of the Owens Valley: we know and respect our unique community, its’ history, its’ culture, and its’ people. We are also familiar with our local government agencies and private employers, how they provide for their employees, and the benefits of their various insurance plans.

Please come into our treatment center, which is furnished and decorated to offer a relaxing home-like atmosphere. Meet our Champion Samoyed therapy dogs, who promise to welcome you like family. And join us in the kitchen for a snack and a cup of Bishop’s best coffee!

We strive to make you feel comfortable, safe, and secure. Your privacy and confidentiality are guaranteed by our strict policies as well as California and Federal laws. All documentation is safely stored under lock and key, and your identity and health information will be released only with your written consent. Before you enter treatment, we will explain our charges, and verify your insurance benefits. No surprises here.

As you may know, we provide a range of behavioral health and substance use treatments, which you can review by clicking on “Services” at the top of the screen. Our professional staff are highly educated, experienced, and licensed by the State of California. Alpine Center is also licensed and regulated by the California Department of Health Services. We strive to be helpful to you and your family as we explore and together agree on a plan of treatment that will restore your health and possibly open the door to a new life and opportunities.
