    Robert B. Dibble Ph.D

    Robert B. Dibble, Ph.D., is a licensed psychologist at the Alpine Center in Bishop, California. Dr. Dibble specializes in:

    Employee Assistance Programs, including work performance, interpersonal relations, workplace health, and stress management. 

    Substance Use and Addiction, including assessment and treatment of alcohol, drug, and prescription medication dependence. 

    Mental Health Care, including treatment of trauma and PTSD, Depression, Bipolar Disorder, and Anxiety Disorders.

    Education: Dr. Dibble earned his Ph.D. in Psychology from the California School of Professional Psychology in Los Angeles in 1984. He completed pre-doctoral studies in psychology at the University of California, Los Angeles. He also holds a B.A. in Psychology from Occidental College, Los Angeles, and a Certificate in Heath Care Administration from the U.S. Veterans Administration.

    Experience: Dr. Dibble has been the Administrator and Clinical Director at the Alpine Center for Counseling and Recovery in Bishop, California since 1990.  He supervises the licensed mental health and chemical dependency treatment facility, covering program development, staff recruitment and training, quality assurance and community relations.

    Prior to his current position, Dr. Dibble served as the Clinical Director at Vista Health Corporation in El Segundo, California, from 1987 to 1990.  He managed the behavioral health programs for eight outpatient clinics and one hospital-based program, which involved program development, staff recruitment, supervision and training, quality assurance, and community relations.

    Dr. Dibble was also a Psychologist at Pasadena Community Hospital in Pasadena, California (1984-1986). He served with the Psychology Department of Brentwood Veterans Administration Hospital in Los Angeles, California (1979-1984), and was the Assistant Administrator for Professional Services at Brentwood Veterans Administration Hospital (1974-1979)

     Hello, my name is Susan Gilman-Hicks and I am a life-long resident of the Eastern Sierras. I am very familiar with the needs of patients living in a rural community and the need for great healthcare locally.

    I am highly experienced in the billing and collecting aspects of insurance. With my extensive financial background, I will work with you and your insurance plan to make sure that you get the help that you and your family deserve.

    Alpine Center is contracted with Anthem Blue Cross, Blue Shield and all other major insurance plans serving the region. This assures you the lowest available rates.

    Unlike most providers, we bill insurance for you as a courtesy and wait for payment. You are only responsible for any unmet deductibles and co-payments per your plan. We strive to make your visits as accessible and convenient as possible.

    Cory S. Mann CADC-2

    Cory S. Mann CADC-2, ASAM (#Ci33360721), is a licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor Level 2 at the Alpine Center in Bishop, California. Mr. Mann specializes in:

    Substance Use and Addiction, including assessment and treatment of alcohol, drug, and prescription medication dependence. He conducts individual and group education and therapy.

    Relapse Prevention and Long-term Recovery, including 12-Step Community Support, identification and avoidance of substance use triggers, development of sober social supports and lifestyle change.

    Education: Cory Mann earned his CADAC-2 from the Sober College of Addiction Studies in 2019. He also holds a certificate in DV/ Moral Reconation Therapy (MRT) from CCI/MRT in 2021.

    Experience: Cory Mann has been a Counselor at the Alpine Center for Counseling and Recovery in Bishop, California since 2021.  He supervises the Anger Management Program, including program development, continuing education and training, quality assurance and coordination with the Inyo Probation Department.

    In addition, Cory Mann has served as an Alcohol and Drug Counselor with the County of Inyo Behavior Health Department since 2022. In this capacity, he conducts assessments and individual and group therapy. He also teaches the Driving Under the Influence Offenders Program.
